Construction Jobs Expo Dublin returned to the RDS on Saturday, 17 October 2026, bringing together construction and engineering employers, industry professionals, apprentices and jobseekers for a day focused on career opportunities across Ireland’s construction sector.
We would like to thank everyone who attended the event, including the employers, recruiters, training providers and visitors who helped make the expo a valuable meeting point for the industry.
The event gave jobseekers an opportunity to connect directly with employers, learn more about current vacancies and explore potential career paths across construction, engineering and related fields. For employers, it provided a chance to meet candidates, discuss their recruitment needs and connect with people interested in building their careers in the sector.
From experienced professionals considering their next move to people exploring apprenticeships and entry-level opportunities, Construction Jobs Expo welcomed visitors at different stages of their careers.
The event also highlighted the range of skills and career routes available across the industry. Construction and engineering offer opportunities in areas including site management, civil engineering, building services, project management, health and safety, technical design and skilled trades.
With the sector continuing to require a broad range of talent, direct conversations between employers and potential employees remain an important part of connecting people with suitable roles.
Developing future talent remains an important priority for the construction industry. Apprenticeships, training and professional development provide routes into the sector and help people build the practical and technical skills required for long-term careers.
Construction Jobs Expo also provided an opportunity to highlight important industry themes, including youth participation, inclusion, mental health and safety. These areas are central to creating a skilled, supportive and sustainable construction workforce.
