David is a construction professional with over 33 years experience. He qualified originally as a Quantity Surveyor in the UK , David moved rapidly into Project and contract management. His career has brought him to manage projects in the UK, Ireland and Australia. He has had the benefit of managing residential developments, modular, commercial ventures and Civil engineering projects in these different countries over this time.

He enjoys both Irish and Australian citizenship which has benefited him greatly in advising and keeping track of industry changes and updates.

Siobhan is a project manager at Bord Gáis EnergyBord Gáis Energy is on a mission to help their customers reach net zero by 2050. Siobhan is passionate about the organisation's net zero goals and is currently helping the business transform through a number of initiatives including the electrification of Service engineer fleet.

Siobhan is an experienced project manager in Agile, Digital, Regulation and supply chain transformation.

She looks forward to speaking at Construction Jobs Expo to share the benefits, opportunities, and positive Environmental impact that employees can enjoy throughout their career at Bord Gáis Energy.

Charlotte moved to Western Canada from the UK in 2011 and has over ten years of experience hiring construction management professionals in the Canadian construction industry. Since joining Pomerleau’s Calgary office six years ago, she has played an integral role in supporting the development of Pomerleau’s employer brand in Western Canada and has witnessed transformational growth across Pomerleau from Coast to Coast.

With continued growth and increased contracts utilising alternative delivery methods, there is increased demand for diverse and unique talent. Charlotte takes pride in hiring ambitious and adventurous professionals from all over the world to work for one of Canada’s largest, career-transforming contractors.

Charlotte is currently responsible for Pomerleau’s Talent initiatives in Western Canada, focusing largely on talent acquisition, employer branding, and championing employee development and success.

Niall is a Senior Project Manager and has worked for Pomerleau for two years. Niall has over 15 years of experience working on a wide range of projects in Canada, Australia, Ireland, and the UK.

Niall has spent the last eight years working in Canada and has a great track record of delivering large, technically challenging construction projects in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Niall is currently managing the Brampton Courthouse Project (BCH) in the GTA for Pomerleau. The BCH project is a P3 Fitout and Renovation Project which is scheduled for completion in November 2023.

After graduating from Sherbrook University with a Degree in Civil Engineering, Normand spent five years with a specialised contractor before beginning his twenty-one-year career with Pomerleau at the start of its expansion in the Civil & Infrastructure sector.

Since then, Normand has taken on a variety of roles including Project Manager and Project Director, and has successfully completed many complex projects such as marine infrastructure, bridges, wastewater, industrial and wind farms.

As Regional Vice President, Normand is responsible for the continued expansion of Pomerleau’s Civil & Infrastructure division into Western Canada and has been at the forefront of its growth over the last seven years.

Normand continues to proudly develop Pomerleau’s brand in Vancouver, BC and is responsible for over 250 employees working on over $700 million of projects with prominent clients such as Defence Construction Canada and Metro Vancouver.

In her role at Pomerleau as Vice President, Pre-Construction – APEX, Magda is part of a centralized team leading the pursuit of Design-Build projects procured through alternative delivery models.

Magda holds a Master in Environment and Business (MEB) and an Undergraduate degree in Urban Planning (BES), both from the University of Waterloo.

Her experience encompasses a wide portfolio of delivering healthcare and transit infrastructure procurements, including commercial structuring and re-evaluating contractual risk management and allocation. Her experience includes the first major smart hospital in Ontario delivered through the DBFM model, as well as extensive work on the GO Transit Expansion program in partnership with Metrolinx.

At Pomerleau, Magda is instrumental in enabling the company’s growth and expansion in building construction across Canada.

Barney qualified as a quantity surveyor from Technical University Dublin in 1998. Initially working with SIAC Construction as part of their small contracts division, he then moved on to large infrastructure projects. Barney then relocated to the United States where he worked on commercial, industrial and residential projects ranging from logistical parks to city infill multi storey projects. Barney has been based back in Ireland since 2008 and has been involved in projects utilizing multiple build methodologies, including RC, structural steel, masonry, off-site modular and precast. In his current role, Barney leads a diverse building team which has and continues to deliver units to local authorities and approved housing bodies.

Colm as a member of the Garda National Immigration Bureau dealing with immigration issues from 1997 until April 2015. Colm served with the Irish Police Force, An Garda Siochana for 33 years with 29 years’ experience assigned to detective duty and has extensive knowledge of all aspects of the immigration laws and procedures.

Colm is now the Director in charge of  a dedicated staff who have experience in processing, managing and delivering all types of employment permits issued by the Department of Enterprise , Trade & Employment.

He is the lead contact with the following partnership organisations:
Restaurant Association of Ireland, Construction Industry Federation, Irish Road Haulage Association, The Irish Hotels Federation and The Coach Tourism and Transport Council

Luke Treacy is the General Manager of the Dublin CODING School, a new tech-education business currently based in Dun Laoghaire.

Luke is an experienced executive in technology, media and digital publishing having previously served as CEO/Managing Director of two businesses in the UK and two in Ireland including an AI/IoT focused research business.

Luke holds an MBA from Imperial College London and has previously studied Artificial Intelligence at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Digital Strategies at the University of Oxford.

Paddy Jobsman is a career educator who spends his days helping people get hired. Since 2014, Paddy has coached jobseekers to land roles at companies of all shapes and sizes. From global organisations like TikTok, LinkedIn, Meta, and Amazon, to the local corner shop looking for a jack of all trades.

Furthermore, he has first-hand experience from the employer's side. He started his career as a recruiter 8 years ago and went on to launch a hiring platform, managing recruitment campaigns for 900+ companies, including PayPal, eBay, McDonald's, Just Eat, Vodafone, and BT.
